Te Māra Team


The Te Māra team carry out ministry and leadership development throughout nga Hui Amorangi o Te Pihopatanga o Aotearoa. The team is made up of experienced Anglican youth ministers with a wide range of academic knowledge and practical ministry skills.

  Holding a B.Theol from the University of Auckland, Michael has been committed to rangatahi ministry in Te Pihopatanga o Aotearoa since 1999. Priested in 2009, Michael was also collated as Archdeacon of Kahui Rangatahi (Aotearoa) in January of this year.

  Sharlene has been involved in rangatahi ministry in Te Waipounamu for several years.  With experience in accountancy, Sharlene was commissioned as a Manu Karakia in 2005.

  Tessa graduated from the University of Auckland with a B.Theol. in 2007. Tessa has also been involved with the Church in Wairoa since her birth. Tessa was commissioned as a Manu Karakia in 2005.

  Andrew has been working in Rangatahi Ministry for 10 years now, and brings an expertise in E Ministries. Andrew completed his B.Sc at the University of Auckland in 2008. Andrew was commissioned as a Manu Karakia in 2005.
