Te Māra Team


The Te Māra team carry out ministry and leadership development throughout nga Hui Amorangi o Te Pihopatanga o Aotearoa. The team is made up of experienced Anglican youth ministers with a wide range of academic knowledge and practical ministry skills.

  Holding an M.A. (1st Class Honours) in History from the University of Auckland, Hirini has been committed to rangatahi ministry in Te Pihopatanga o Aotearoa since 1992. Priested in 2005, Hirini was also collated as Archdeacon of Kahui Rangatahi (Aotearoa) in the same year.

  Andrew has been working with Te Māra Rangatahi Ministry School for 5 years now, and brings an expertise in E Ministries. Andrew will complete his B.Sc at the University of Auckland in 2008. Andrew was commissioned as a Manu Karakia in 2005.

  Tessa graduated from the University of Auckland with a B.Theol. in 2008. Tessa has also been involved with the Church in Wairoa since her birth. Tessa was commissioned as a Manu Karakia in 2005.
