Project: The Standing Rock Reservation Ministry

1 Maori young adult (college age)

Duration:
July 2006

Description:
1 young adult working for 3 weeks with St Gabriels summer camp program.

Aims:
-
To build a new generation of strong Anglican indigenous leadership and relationships.
- To expose the participant to the Lakota Gospel and culture.
- To increase the ministry and mission capacity of both ECUSA Indigenous Ministry and the Te Pihopatanga o Aotearoa through the sharing of gifts and knowledge.

Content:
Participants will work at the St Gabriels camp assisting in the delivery of the
summer program. This will include:
- assisting in the 4 day Youth group outreach and vacation bible school;
- taking part in the Bishop 3 day camp;
- working on various projects around the camp;
- and, sharing their story with the Lakota youth.
